I would describe myself as friendly, joyful, witty and sometimes sarcastic (in a good way.) While I know bad things can happen to good people, I think that your attitude really determines how "hard" you make your life in a lot of situations. At least this has been the case for me.

I grew up in a relatively large family on the Iron Range. I am a very family orientated, down to earth, loyal, trustworthy, and giving person. I will put as much into someone as they put into me and I really like getting to know new people.

I love the spoken word. I like Native American Education, volunteering, Blood and body donation, Nursing, Recycling, AIM, gardening, my dog, photography, travel, owning a chicken! Ok! so how do you do this? I'm not very good with my self summary but here it goes. I am 28 years old, I live in the suburb of St. Paul and live on my own with my 5 year old daughter. I keep myself pretty busy, with school and working full time @ a salon. I love to laugh and make people laugh, I don't like getting angry cause I find it to be just a waste of time and energy. I am very kind and very giving, I believe in compromising and FREEDOM.

I am a open-minded person. I read a lot of articles about things going on today in the country and in the world. I am very opinionated and my opinions are based on facts that I have read about. I love to debate on issues with people who are willing to debate. I am a free thinker. I don't believe what the mainstream media says or what the crooks in DC say. I consider myself to be very informed with what is going on in this country. There are plenty of issues that I am well versed on that many people don't know even exist. Based on the available evidence I believe 911 was a inside job perpetrated by our gov't.

I try to conserve energy. The lights and water go off when not in use I purchased a corn stove last year to save money and not support the gas company as much. In the summer I bike to work. it's close by. I also garden in the summer.

I enjoy the typical things like nature walks, movies, music (just about anything except country and top 40), intelligent conversations, traveling, mini-golf, bowling, darts, and most other fun things. The only radio station I listen to are all 3 MPR stations, KFAI, and occasionally 93X. The Current is what is usually on.

In the summer I enjoy treasure hunting, exploring new areas, long drives and just being outside. Unless it's a car I like to try and figure out how to fix things before throwing them or calling a repair man. Sometimes I'm successful.

I took the politics test here and it says I am a strong democrat. I couldn't disagree more. Don't judge someone by what some stupid test result says. Politically I am a independent. I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I think both parties are worthless, one is as bad as the other, both are corrupt and only answer to their master : money. I supported Jesse Ventura and Ron Paul. I will usually vote for a third party, but now that the elections are rigged it really doesn't mean much anymore. We are a fascist nation and it's only getting worse.

I think atheism is the best religion. You never hear about a band of atheists going around raping little kids. You never see atheists killings others for not believing in a deity. Atheists typically don't try to influence politics, and in most cases atheists do their own thinking rather than rely on a book to tell them how to think. So yes, I am atheist and unfortunately I probably know more about religion then many religious people know. If you are religious I would still date you, but you'd be opening yourself up to some big time criticism.

I am a person who believes that a better world is possible and I have dedicated my life to trying to create that better world. I am an activist who has worked on many different issues but recently my main focuses have been on ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and protecting our first amendment rights. I don't work for any political parties or candidates, but I will work for any organization that is fighting for the causes that are important to me.

Many people think that activism is all work and no fun, but I will tell you that is not the case at all. The activism that I am involved in can be a lot of fun and the greatest moments of my life have come about as a result of activism. Trust me, it is a lot of fun to dress up like a pirate and take a heavily decorated boat out on the lake to crash Tim Pawlenty's fishing opener photo op, and if you have the opportunity to try it next year before he leaves office I highly recommend doing so.

Ok, so I am really bad at this, plus I really hate to 'define myself' or put labels on things. I will do my best though. The first thing that I should mention is that I have a 4 year old daughter. That is the most important thing about me, and she will always come first, no matter what.

I enjoy a variety of activities, most of which are outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, swimming, bonfires, snowmobiling, snowboarding, fishing, reading, playing cards, or just relaxing with friends and family.

I listen to all kinds of music, but prefer rock and love finding new bands and going to shows. I don't know what else to say, but if you're curious, then ask!

This little thing called a spinal cord injury happened to me some years ago resulting in my paralysis from the shoulders down. Not to worry, though, as I did the whole lemons into lemonade trick. I ended up going back to college and earning a degree, however securing a career has proven to be more troublesome than initially considered. This has caused me to continue working as a public speaker addressing issues such as decision-making and dealing with adversity. Today finds me in a happy place despite the difficulties of my disability.

I love to have a good time. I enjoy going out and trying new things. My favorite season is summer and i cannot wait for it! I like to fish, go to the beach, camping and play tennis. I like to travel i definitely dont do it as much as i would like to but when i have the time i do! I also like to go out and try differant beers.

I work full time in a salaried position in my chosen field. That is a great thing, as a lot of people unfortunately are not working in the field they went to school for. Equally as unpleasant are those that are in their chosen field only to find out they hate it. I love mine, which also carries consequences. In my case, I tend to be a bit of a workaholic. I have trouble leaving the office at the office, and if something in on my mind from work, it will process in the background no matter what I am doing with few exceptions.

As for what I do outside of work, currently not much. I do some reading, enjoy movies (Netflix is my lover) and basically geek out online. I do like getting outdoors as well. Walking trails and taking my dog out into the park are among the outdoor activities. I don't really know the cities much, and frankly don't care to get to know them. I am all for doing things in the cities, but just plain don't like the feel in a large city.

I suppose that is that for now. If you want more information, you will have to force it out of me with your unending wit and charisma.

i love long walks and working out. i like to travel when i have the extra money(which isnt as often as i would like) I like to sit at home and watch movies just as much as going out to see one. hanging with my kids is number one for me but am looking for someone to share that with. i love to try new food and hang out with great company when i am doing so. i like to play pool and learn new sports. i have just joined a gym so i can get back in shap. i love the working out it keeps my mind clear and gives me time to myself.

Well I'm finally deciding to write this summary even though I have no idea what to say. Some people would call me a real calm, collective laid back type of guy, I tend to agree with them. There's nothing that will phase me or get by me too easily. People watching is always fun to me but I'm the type of person who does something clumsy while they are watching me. My family has recently been a big part of my life and very grateful for them. I can be a man of few words but trust me there are bunch of questions up there which when I feel comfortable enough I'll ask. Takes me a while to warm up to new people (unless I'm heavily intoxicated) but who isn't? I'm not much of dancer or singer but will if needed. I can be very sarcastic at times and joke around a lot but I also know when it's time to be serious.

Starting to work out more and love running or walking around the lake. I love kids (to a certain extent) but I just got hired to be a tutor for the St. Paul school district. I stay fit working out 4-5 times a week. I dont' have 6-pack abs, but no keg either.
I love traveling. My kids and I went scuba diving for a week last summer in the Florida Keys. The year before we took a week long road trip camping and hiking in Glacier National Park (The most beautiful place in the US imho). We've taken a bus tour through Europe. I was the mean dad who assigned them each a country to give a report on while we were there. They were the "expert" and picked what we did. My son chose Italy and my daughter picked France. I had Austria and Switzerland.

I had to move back into my parents home since the breakup (yeah yeah...i know). I smoke weed more then anyone you know, and it's only the really danky expensive shit. Guess this was due for a change. I'm a Twin Cities transplant, I'm originally from the giant town of WIllmar,MN. I haven't decided yet if I like it in the big city yet. There are a great number of positives but also a great number of negatives. I do enjoy finding unique places to go out to eat and its nice all the professional sports teams close by, especially the Twins. But due to a recent bout of HITH disease my Oscar cannot see as well as he once could and isnâ??t much of a hunter any more. I like to put the cats, dog and ferrets in a room to play. The cats chase the ferrets, the ferrets chase the cats. The dog sits in the middle of the room and stares lovingly at me as the cats use her as a springboard.

Hello there! I am going to start this out by stating that I am a big guy. I am not afraid to admit it, and may be trying to get a handle on the battle with weight again, but this is how I am right now, and I am, overall, happy with myself.

I love to read, and my tastes in that(well, in many things, as you will see reading on) are varied. When I go out, I usually just go hang with friends or family. Whether that be bowling, pool, karaoke, having a couple rounds at a bar, or staying in with a night of Rock Band.

My religion is listed as â??Otherâ??, I am Wiccan, but solitary, and pretty loose about it. I have my beliefs, and pay my respects to the god/goddess when the feelings move me(usually on a dock on the water, gazing at the moon and stars), but other than that I seem perfectly normal, I swear! :D

Movies, that is another subject that is very wide-ranging for me. I am most into the standard sappy but funny romantic comedies, but also love good action, sci fi, psychological thrillers, suspense, or really anything whose preview nabs my attention.

Music is a totally different animal. My musical tastes border on schizophrenic, and there are WAY too many to list. Pretty much as long as it is music, I will at least give it a chance. Feel free to ask for examples, but as far as â??favoritesâ?? they really vary depending on my overall mood.

What I am looking for: I am looking for someone who is not afraid to communicate. I am quite chatty, and love to talk about many things, mundane â??how was your dayâ?? stuff all the way to the big stuff that helps us get to know each other better. I love to laugh and make others laugh with me, I find humor in everything and that is reason enough for me to try anything at least once. I love being spontaneous and doing anything to break the doldrums. I love talking and spending time with fun people in any situation. We only live once, right? Meeting new people is a great opportunity and I almost never miss a chance to make a friend or maybe more. I love animals and nature as much as any city guy can, I take most every opportunity I can get to get away and enjoy whatever I can outside of my normal life. I like to kick back and watch TV or a movie or just lay around and enjoy what peace I can. Only problem is sometimes my movies require a snuggle buddy. I'd love to meet you and make you smile, don't hold back that cute/dorky side either. What's the point in anything if you can't be yourself?

I love cooking, movies, computers, campfires, and puppies. While I'm not an "I can't summarize myself in n words" person, I am managing to have a hard time making this thing accurate. Perhaps I require more writing practice... so it's time to rewrite it again!

I'm obsessed with spiders, nature, and animals in general. I have two cats (who are spoiled rotten and I'm obsessed with them), four snakes, a tarantula and some fish. My dream career is to study animals or work in a zoo.

When I'm not working, I'm either with my friends doing whatever comes to mind or at home in bed. I sleep a lot. If I could get away with sleeping over 12 hours a night I would. I loooooooove sleep.

Music is a huge part of my life. Although I have no talent for creating it, I love to listen and discover new things. I love to go to shows and rock out. Unless I'm sleeping I usually have music playing. Complete silence bothers me. Lately I have been listening to XM Radio in my car (Alt Nation!) and 89.3 the Current. If I have my iPod on me I'm probably listening to anything from Ludacris to Hanson (for real, it gets pretty random sometimes).

I like video games, but not to the point where I have 10 different gaming systems and spend every waking moment playing. Occasionally you can find me using my roommates X-Box to play 1 vs. 100 or Beautiful Katamari. I also enjoy a good old fashioned game of Bond. People who can't leave their room to use the bathroom because they are too caught up in a video game make me sick. Get a life.

I need to find someone who can motivate me to get out and do things. I feel like I spend far too much time indoors sitting around watching TV and not really making the most out of life, if you know what I mean. Even little things like going to the zoo with me are awesome. By the way, I could go to the zoo everyday. I have a membership and will gladly take you. :)

I feel the need to mention something about this also: I have my sexuality listed as bisexual. I feel like I should clarify here, I am more bi-curious. I have never been with a woman but every once in a while one will catch my eye and I will get a huge crush on her. I can't really picture anything ever happening, but I am open to it if it does. The main reason I am on this website is to make friends. I have a fair amount of straight and gay guys and girls who currently are my friends but I can always use more people to hang out with and get me out of the house. Plus, you never know if something else could happen I guess. :)

I'm a small town boy living in the big city. Currently living in the big? town of Eagan. I think of it as a large town because it's 100 times larger than the town I grew up in. I did go to a private Lutheran college but I'd describe myself as a liberal atheist. I work in a typical office environment which I do enjoy but can't say I'll shed a tear when moving on to my next gig.

I'm rather calm and quiet most of the time. I do enjoy to cheer for my local Minnesota teams such as the Vikings and Twins. Have yet to find the excitement of hockey. Sorry Wiild fans. Most people would consider me a geek but I don't follow the timeline of Star Trek or have the desire to dress up for a comic convention. I just enjoy keeping up with the latest technology gadgets and listening to some informative podcasts.

There are many local parks and hiking paths where I can enjoy a lazy stroll. Nobody would confuse me for being a chef but I do enjoy playing Dr. Frankenstein in the kitchen. Most of the time it turns out surprisingly good but sometimes it goes straight into the trash.

I'm just on here looking to meet new people and maybe become friends. Anything more than that would just be icing on the cake.

Well, where to begin? I'm pretty much just trying this out with no expectations at all, just heard about it from friends. As for me, I've been going to school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, majoring in Chemistry with a math minor. I'll be graduating in December of 2009, which is exciting. I currently work at 3M as a tech aide, just trying to get as much experience as possible.

I'd like to consider myself different from most "science" guys, because I've had some really crappy jobs in my lifetime...which basically gave me a slap in the face, as to what I should be doing with my life. So I can, in a way, relate to lots of people. You'll never see me judge another person, because I don't know their life story and have no idea what they've been through.

Other than that, I like to stay active by playing basketball, softball, bowling, tennis...pretty much anything that will get me out of the house! I try to hang out with friends whenever I can, and generally try to have a good time.

I'd quickly like to explain the nickname: in my undergrad I was kind of a nerd to psychology from the get go my freshman year, thus earning me the nickname "the Psych Guy" among my friends, when I decided to pursue family therapy, they changed it to "the Family Guy", I do not think it has anything to do with the TV show, but I never asked...

I consider myself a wholesome homegrown Kansan. A little out of my element here in the big city, I think I'm adjusting well enough. I moved here (twin cities) to pursue my MA in Family Therapy. I'm 24 and consider myself 2nd born of 7. For the most part my family and friends are the most important things in my life.

Although I consider myself a military brat, I spent most of my residence in Kansas with the only exotic locations being Honolulu and Phoenix. Still, in 12 years of grade school, I attended 11 different schools. It has given me quite a knowledge base on how to pack, though I hate moving.

I do however enjoy traveling, I used to camp and fish when I was younger. Would be nice to get back into it. My studies have taken me abroad for French in 2005; I am second generation French, though far from fluent; however I can handle most communication as my comprehension is rather good. I have also been to Italy and as of last summer, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, England, and Luxembourg. I must admit I find foreign cultures fascinating and languages alluring. In high school I did a year of American Sign, a year of Spanish, and a semester of Japanese. College and high school I had 6 years in French, though that's going on 3 years ago, use it or lose it.

I call Emporia, KS home, because it is the longest I've ever lived in one place. It is where I did my undergrad, finishing with a BA in Psychology and minors in French and Philosophy.

Music is my world and writing is my best friend. My life is the cinema, and thus I try hard to see every movie that comes out. I also have an eye for the performing arts- theatre, opera, ballet, interpretive dance, I enjoy the aesthetics of dance and movement, the choreography. I love piano, I took my hand at playing, but wasn't in the cards. I can appreciate listening though, and I admire those with the talent to play instruments, or art and photography. I love thunderstorms and frequently sing to myself when I'm alone. For a random note, I collect dragons.

I am not competitive besides with myself. Chess, frisbee, bowling include some activities I enjoy. I was raised by my maternal grandparents through most of my life, so I also enjoy many games like dominoes and scrabble.

Life has thrown me a higher than average amount of curve balls, but I seem to always come out on top, doing what I can, where I am, with what I've got.

I have facebook and myspace. I do instant messaging as well on MSN/Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, and Skype, and can provide screennames upon request. Meeting new people is a hobby of mine, as is experiencing new things. I'm also compulsively honest if not downright blunt, a lifetime as a military brat can do that. Truth hurts, but not for long. I also pride myself on being something of a conversationalist, so being able to hold a conversation is rather important to me.

I'm 21 years old and I am living in St. Paul right now. I love attention and can never get enough of it. I adore little kids. I am going to be a teacher when I graduate; I used to really want to teach kindergarten but now I think 4th or 5th grade might be fun...all I know is that I don't want to teach kids older than 6th grade. I know I am tall and I know my hair is long, I hate when people feel the need to tell me either of those. I used to have pink extensions in my hair but people always had to point out the fact that I had pink in my hair, it got annoying so I took them out and now just have brown hair. My mom and sister are two of the most important people in my life, that's not to say I dont have a dad or my parents are divorced, I am just not a daddy's girl and I haven't been since I was about 2. I am a really really picky eater and it drives people crazy. Pomegranites are my favorite food; when they aren't in season, chocolate is my favorite thing to eat. I usually know how to get what I want. I am obsessed with the color pink. I love to watch soccer and hockey but I don't play any sports. The Minnesota Wild is my favorite team ever. I love country music, WE Fest is the highlight of my summer. I also like other kinds of music. I love going out to Spin Nightclub on Thursday nights when I don't have too much homework, but my favorite club is the 90's on Sunday nights, if you haven't been there you should at least try it once. I am really shy at first but after I know people for about 5 minutes, my crazy side shows through. The most unattractive thing a guy can do is chew tobacco, a close second is smoking; if you do either of those, stay away from me. Finally, I'm obsessed with myself...like it or love it.

Well, I guess I can start by saying that I am a single mom. I have 2 beautiful daughters ages 3 and 8. They are the most important thing to me in my life, and they keep me on the right path. When I'm not with my kids I do love to hang out with my friends, going out to the bar, sing, watch movies and t. v., and listen to music. I love all kinds of music except hard core hip hop and heavy metal. I am a very hard working and understanding person. I value honesty and loyalty the most.
